Hammerclub 2011
The Silvermuseum Sterckshof provids the Hammerclub with a beautiful exhibition space. The theme exhibition is recycling in the broadest sense. The exhibition gives an overview of what today's European silversmiths have to offer. Mieke Vranken participated in making the 'Common Bowl'; a project in which all participating European silversmiths create together one bowl. All participating hallmarks are being put in the final piece.

Art meets Industry
The 'Silverpavilion' is a joint effort between the Sterckshof Silvermuseum of Antwerp and Umicore, between Art and Industry. Located on the premises of the MAS (Museum aan de Stroom, Antwerp), it hosts a prime selection of top silversmithing pieces of the permanent collection of the Silvermuseum. A discussion around the themes "Water, design and Antwerp" combines historical and contemporary masterpieces.

Impressions 2010 - press conference
On Friday October 22nd 2010, the press conference of the Sterckshof commission 2010 was helt at the Silvermuseum of Antwerp, BE. An introduction was given by Wim Nys; a presentation of the artwork was given by Mieke Vranken, followed by a guided tour through the exhibition.
