Taking photos of friends is not that obvious. The line between the intimacy of the moment and the border of discretion is not always easy to find.

A photo taken at an intimate moment, a moment of projection or a private reflection is not always (never) 100% sharp. But this is not the point. The moment is essential.

The feeling that shows in the small details of a picture is subtile. No glamour or commercial photo can obtain the pure senses which are hidden in the pictures of friends.

One way to take pictures of children is to enter their world and be with them. It is the best way to have them acting ‘normal’. Let them be theirselves.
