The North side of Kyoto is packed with a lot of major temples.  Visiting it may lead to a ‘tourist overload’ in your experience.  Not visiting it would be a big mistake. The places that history has kept are real gems of peace, tranquility and unity. Every corner reveals another picture. Only by respecting the small things, you will see the beauty of the bigger picture.
