The city Nikko in Japan is listed on the Unesco site of world-heritages. Nikko has several temples, shrines and mausoleums which are counted among the world’s most beautiful in their kind.
On the streets of Nikko there is another picture to be seen. People are trying to make a living, having modest restaurants or little shops. Icy winds roll through the streets in early spring. The surrounding mountains look through the clouds as ancestors upon their grandchildren.
