Photo Diary
My photo diary is a booklet in which I combine small prints of pictures.
Contact prints of a first selection of images are combined and matched according
to the spirit of the photo journey.
They stand on their own or make a series which inspire me to the meaning of photography as an art expression. Closing the book allows time to create a new story.
When all images are settled down and purified from ‘first impressions’ an interesting story remains. Sometimes I just end up with one word of the story, often a sentence or a poem. Using these sentences in an exhibition, allows me to write a story with images. It is not my intention to dictate what to read, but to offer an open invitation to a imaginary journey.

Wind in the water
Along a large and deep pond,
the wind is always present.
Even on the warmest summer day
when the reflections of grass
mirror their tall image to themselves,
the water shivers with the breeze.
