Packed onto the hills of East Kyoto, a huge amount of superb Japanese Gardens and temples have been build over time. Following the Path of Phylosophers, under the cherry trees, one gets guided by the river from one place to another.  On the East hill, more south, some major Temples draw a lot of visitors. And the beauty of it all is that the genuinity of the sites remains in place.
Overlooking the city, bathing in the evening sun the mind gets at peace.
