In exploring the history of photography one comes across Alfred Stieglitz. He was one of the most important cultural forces in twentieth-century America. As a young man he had his studies in Germany but when he returned to America, he deployed himself as photographer, editor and gallery-director.  As such he was a powerful and dominating influence on photography and art.  His view on photography is very interesting.

Digital Photography : what do I need ?
As soon as people know that you are involved in digital photography, questions pop up out of free air. Now that the media are promoting the digital way of capturing memories, for many people the question arises : what do I need ? How much ? How many ? How fast ?

Cold Sea clears the mind

Many times I was on this part of the coast. Not only on nice sunny days, but -mostly- on cloudy, windy and rainy days. The air was, and still is, very fresh and full of oxygen. It is a great way to relax and blow the dusty and dark thoughts of a stressful life away. Just stroll along the beach and breath in - breath out. Focus on nothing in particular, focus on the infinite. And just keep on going. Recharge the batteries and be ready for another homerun in daily life.
